Dual Degrees
Students with special interests or those who wish to better position themselves in the job market may find the opportunity to concurrently earn two degrees especially advantageous. We partner with five other professional schools at USC, in addition to Hebrew Union College, to offer eight options for a concurrent degree. While obtaining your MSW, you can earn the following:
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- MS in Gerontology (MSG)
- MA in Jewish Nonprofit Management (MAJNM)
- Master of Urban Planning (MUP)
- Master of Public Administration (MPA)
- Master of Public Health (MPH)
Each of our dual degree options reduces the total number of course hours that would be required if each degree were pursued independently. Students must apply and be admitted to both professional schools. (Applicants to the Virtual Academic Center are not eligible for dual degree programs.) For specific USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work questions, please contact the Office of Admissions. Visit the application process page for instructions on how to apply to any of our eight dual degree programs.
