Students interested in advocating for social work causes may want to consider the four-year (eight semesters) dual MSW/JD option, offered in partnership with the USC Gould School of Law.
During the first two years, students complete the first-year JD program and the first-year MSW curriculum. In the third year, they focus on the second-year JD program. By the fourth year, students complete the MSW and JD requirements. Students may choose any department of study at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. See below for a breakdown of the MSW/JD curriculum schedule by department, and review the application process page for instructions on how to apply.
