The ACE Team

Who We Are

The Academic and Career Enhancement (ACE) Team, housed under the Office of Student Life and Engagement, is committed to empowering students to reach their academic and professional goals by providing resource navigation, career readiness support, general academic advising, and at-risk student support services. ACE Navigators are dedicated to guiding individuals for student success through consultation, targeted workshops, and other activities.

Our mission is to foster a community of learning and growth to prepare students for the workforce and equip students with the skills and knowledge so they excel in their studies. Whether offering direct support or connecting individuals with specialized resources across our network of offices including but not limited to Enrollment Services, Workforce Development, and Practicum, the ACE Team is here to ensure that every student can thrive in their academic program.

Course Planning

Most students work while going to grad school, and it's a lot to juggle. We can help you balance your courseload to ensure you're getting the courses you need without falling behind. We can also help make sure that you're taking the right courses to help you with your desired post-grad career path.

Debt Management Advising

Most students are not able to cover the full cost of their degree upfront. That is why we are here to help you explore scholarships and stipends that might be a good fit. The ACE Team will also be sharing loan repayment strategies and loan forgiveness options in presentations open to all students. If you have specific questions regarding financial aid, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.

Questions on leave of absences (LOAs), status changes-program length (full-time to part-time), and even site changes (virtual to on-ground, vice-versa), we're here to help no matter what. If we don't have an answer, we know who does!
