We know that our alumni need experiences that will help expand expertise, extend professional networks and advance careers. The USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work Alumni Association provides new career and professional development offerings for alumni of both our on-campus and Virtual Academic Center (VAC) programs.
There are opportunities to attend courses, events, and film screenings, as well as panels and presentations - both in-person and online - with engaging speakers and renowned faculty sharing the latest research and evidence-based practices.
Programming highlights topics around working with individuals, organizations and communities. Learn how to apply new research to your work, gain an understanding of the latest regulations and their implications, acquire additional training to meet the needs of a certain population, or maintain a license or professional credential by earning continuing education units (CEUs).
Lifelong learning is vital to professional and personal success. Regardless of career stage, social workers and nurses are ethically required to stay informed of current research, theory and techniques that guide their practice and help them better serve their clients and patients.
Programs designed specifically for our Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), undergraduate nursing and Doctor of Social Work (DSW) alumni will be offered in the near future.
