Based on findings from the Military and Veterans Programs' International COVID-19 Veteran Impact Study, Sara Kintzle, deputy director of the Center for Innovation and Research on Veterans & Military Families at USC, presents what has been learned about the needs of U.S. Veterans during the pandemic. Ben Henwood, associate professor and director of the Homelessnes, Housing and Health Equity Research Center (H3E), presents an overview of the H3E Center and how the COVID-19 pandemic as impacted the Center's work on addressing research, practice and policy related to ending homelessness. How have efforts to answer key questions been interrupted by the pandemic? Henwood will address emerging questions, including implementing telehealth within homeless services, access to housing to reduce COVID-19 risk, and the use of mobile devices to better understand trajectories of homelessness.
