Class of 2021: Virtual Celebration, May 13

At 11 am (PT) on May 13 the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work will host a livestream Class of 2021: Virtual Celebration for all MSW, MSN, DSW and PhD graduates, broadcast via Zoom and YouTube. More details and links to come. Closed captioning will be available. 

Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 Commencement: May 19


USC will host commencement ceremonies to confer the degrees of our graduates for the Class of 2020 and the Class of 2021 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Socially distanced ceremonies will take place at a limited capacity.


The commencement ceremony for the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work will take place on May 19 at 8:00 AM.


Graduates from the Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 who plan to attend the commencement ceremony on May 19 MUST RSVP through Marching Order for themselves and up to 2 guests. You need to use your USC email address to log into Marching Order.


All Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 gradates are eligible to attend the ceremony on May 19. California residency is not required.  


All guests of graduates who are not residents of California may attend ONLY if they have been fully vaccinated, and can provide proof of this prior to attending. Fully vaccinated is defined as two weeks after receiving the last dose of the vaccine.

Cap & Gown Rental

Regalia, or what is known informally as cap and gown, can be rented at the USC Bookstore, and an option to order online and have it shipped for a fee. Graduates may wear military dress uniform instead of a cap and gown. Both are considered ceremonial dress and appropriate for commencement ceremonies.
