Join the SDP-Keck Human Rights Clinic in the fight for asylum seekers’ justice.
Mission
The mission of SDP-Keck HRC is to provide psychological forensic evaluations to individuals seeking humanitarian relief, particularly those unable to afford private practice evaluators, offering vital support to immigrants seeking asylum in the United States. We actively promote education by training licensed practitioners in immigration and forensic psychological evaluation, and providing students with the opportunity to assist with forensic evaluations, learn about human rights, and develop trauma-informed care and cultural competency. Additionally, we passionately advocate for international social work and facilitate public education concerning immigration.
Vision
Our vision at SDP-Keck HRC is to occupy a prominent position in the domain of human rights and social welfare. Our organization rests on an unwavering commitment to social justice, guiding us in our dedication to direct service, advocacy, and the advancement of human rights for individuals seeking humanitarian relief including asylum, U-Visa, T-Visa, and VAWA.
