Southern California Human Rights Center 

The Southern California Human Rights Center (SCHRC) provides forensic medical and psychological evaluations to survivors of human rights abuses seeking asylum in the United States. 

LA Human Rights Initiative 

The LA Human Rights Initiative (LAHRI) is a student-run, faculty-supervised organization at UCLA. LAHRI runs an Asylum Clinic that provides pro bono forensic evaluations to asylum seekers and other immigrants and creates opportunities for experiential learning and professional development for medical students and residents. 

USC Partnerships 

Gould School of Law Immigration Clinic 

The Gould School of Law Immigration Clinic is staffed by law students, faculty, and staff and provides free legal representation to adults and children from all over the world. Most of the cases involve applications for asylum, protection under the Convention Against Torture, and other humanitarian forms of relief. Students represent their clients before the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. 

Trauma Recovery Center 

TRC@USC provides free, safe and culturally sensitive mental health and supportive services to those who have been affected by crime, violence or trauma. This can include child abuse and neglect, sexual assault, battery, community violence, grief and loss, human trafficking or any crime-related trauma.
