School Social Worker

Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic School Social Worker to join our team of professionals at one of our schools.The Social Worker will provide vital support for students experiencing social-emotional and attendance challenges, extending resources to families as well.The pay range for this position is $62,700.00 - $88,700.00 annually.

Pay Rate: $62,700.00 - $88,700.00 Annually
Location: Highland Park, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday (School Hours)

Requirements:
- Valid PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) Social Worker certification or State Licensure.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with students, families, and community organizations.
- Understanding of social-emotional and violence prevention strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with school faculty, staff, and the broader community.

Responsibility:
- Collaborate with school faculty and staff to provide preventative training on school violence and safety measures.
- Provide counseling and guidance services to students.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for faculty and staff.
- Assess and address social-emotional needs of students facing attendance issues.
- Provide support and resources to students and their families.
- Work closely with parents and the community to enhance support networks.
