KEY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
•This individual must work successfully with all persons without regard to ethnicity, religion, age, national origin, physical challenge, sexual preference, or gender.
•Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans with program participants to make service recommendations such as for individual therapy, group therapy or referrals to external providers.
•Provide case management for a small caseload of participants.
•Oversee and co-facilitate Cognitive Behavior Intervention workshops (the County will provide training on the curriculum) to program participants.
•Support Career Coaches, Peer Support Specialists, and other SECTOR Program staff to address participants’ clinical needs
•Provide oversight, monitoring, and clinical assistance throughout the duration of a participant’s enrollment in the SECTOR Program, identifying and troubleshooting service issues, and providing consultation to staff in coordination with the County.
Data Collection, Data Reporting, and Contract Compliance
•Maintain clinical documentation and other program-related files (electronically and hard copy) as per contractual requirements and per supervisor’s instructions
Other Duties
•Maintain a schedule that is consistent with office hours
•Collaborate as necessary with program staff and external third parties to provide quality clinical services and reach contract goals.
•Participate in FOLA meetings and conduct trainings, as assigned.

•Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with an active registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
•A minimum of 12 months’ experience working with diverse system-involved populations to include but not limited to providing direct mental health and case management services to populations with a history of complex trauma, including participants with a mental health diagnosis and/or substance use disorder.
• Excellent communicator with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage or perform multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
•Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Access, email, and the Internet.
•Passion for Friends Outside in Los Angeles County’s Mission.
