Calling all Los Angeles-based social work students and professional social workers looking to get involved with the National Association of Social Workers!

Join the next general meeting of the NASW-USC chapter for elections and event planning for the year. Guest speaker Norma Cumpian from the Center for Restorative Justice Works will be presenting in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness month.

Food will be served.

If you are interested in running for a leadership position (secretary, event/meeting coordinator, student outreach coordinator and communications support, community outreach coordinator or alumni outreach coordinator) please submit your candidate statement of 350 words or less to naswusc@usc.edu by Oct. 4. Be prepared to give a 1 to 2 minute speech at the meeting highlighting your qualifications for the position and your ideas for the development of the unit.
