All School Day 2015
Race Relations in the 21st Century: Is it Just a Black and White Issue?

USC School of Social Work’s All School Day is an educational forum co-led by students and faculty to learn how to better communicate across differences in race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, social class and disability. Born out of the civil unrest of the 1992 Los Angeles riots, the event has since become an annual event to recognize diversity through an exchange of ideas.
This year’s keynote speakers include Mayor Aja Brown of the City of Compton; Manuel Pastor, USC professor of sociology and American studies and ethnicity; and Jody Armour, USC professor of law.
Check-in begins at 8:15 a.m. at Bovard Auditorium. Student Organization will hold an event following the main program at Ground Zero from 1 to 3 p.m.
Students who cannot attend in person can view the live stream beginning 9 a.m. PST/noon EST. Anyone can join the #ASD15 tweet chat by following @uscsocialwork and @MSWatUSC.
