This is a full-time, in-person position located in Santa Ana, CA - work would be conducted on-site at Orangewood Foundation, at the Santa Ana Courthouse, and within the community. Along with another Licensed Therapist on the team (LCSW) and under the general supervision of the Clinical Director (Licensed Clinical Psychologist), you would be responsible for providing substance use assessment and therapy services to 18-25 year old males enrolled in our court program. Therapy services are voluntary and we are not a treatment court. Other duties would include collaborative team meetings with case managers and probation officers to develop holistic treatment plans for clients, and identify and link youth to appropriate recovery resources for youth (e.g., intensive outpatient or residential programs, MAT, detox).

Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
Licensed/certified as a therapist/counselor in the state of California.
2+ years of experience and/or certifications in drug and alcohol counseling (CADC-II or LAADC).
Thorough knowledge and understanding of evidence-based substance use recovery assessments (ASAM) and treatments (Motivational Interviewing; harm reduction) for youth/young adults.
Excellent listening and interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with young adults who may be difficult to engage within different community settings; high tolerance and respect for youth survival actions, voice, and choice.
Genuine interest or previous experience working within a multidisciplinary treatment team, including legal actors (e.g., attorneys, judges, probation officers) and case managers/mental health providers.
