Group Facilitator

Group Facilitator – Independent Contractor
Group Solutions connects certified facilitators with behavioral health and addiction treatment centers across California. As a group facilitator, you’ll lead clinical, educational, or experiential sessions for clients in recovery or mental health programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate engaging and supportive group sessions (in-person or virtual)

Adapt group content to meet the needs of each facility and population

Submit group notes or attendance records (depending on the group type)

Communicate availability and updates with the Group Solutions team

Maintain professionalism, reliability, and appropriate boundaries

You Set:

Your own schedule

Your rate of pay

The types of groups you want to lead (clinical, mindfulness, movement, etc.)

RADT (Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician) – or higher (CADC, LAADC, etc.)

AMFT, LMFT, ASW, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD – or other mental health licensure

Degree in a related field – Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies, etc.

Certification in a relevant modality – Yoga, Meditation, Breathwork, Art Therapy, etc.

Experience facilitating groups in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or wellness spaces
