Director of Social Services (Interim)

We are assisting a California hospital in their search for an Interim Director of Social Services. This is a critical hire for this University hospital.

Location: California with a mild Climate and convenient airport access. This location offers ease of weekend getaways opportunities including city sights, historical landmarks and the great outdoors.

About the role: We are looking for an experienced leader of Social Work to be responsible for the oversight and day-to-day operations of the department. The Director Reports to the Senior Director of Care Coordination, this leader will oversee a team of 40+ social workers. This leader will thoroughly assess the current operations of the department and strategically prepare a compelling case for securing additional resources essential for its success.

Requirements: Previous experience in similar role for a mid to large California Hospital. Immediate Availability. Bachelor’s Degree Required. California licensed LCSW.

Contract: 13 Week Contract Position will include Temp Housing + Travel Allowance (Temp to Perm Options).
