Wild Ideas and Innovations: A Radical Conversation about Homelessness

The USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work Department of Adults and Healthy Aging invites you to attend "Wild Ideas and Innovations: A Radical Conversation about Homelessness" on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the USC Town & Gown.
Challenge your thinking and join us for a conversation about homelessness in light of the apparent passage of Measure H and the Los Angeles County Homeless Initiative.
The event will feature speakers: Gabriel Crenshaw, Lecturer, USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work; Deon Joseph, Senior Lead Officer, Los Angeles Police Department; Chris Ko, Director of Homeless Initiatives, United Way of Greater Los Angeles; and Ellen Sloan, Founder and CEO, SoCapTech Studio.
The day will start at 8:00 a.m. with check-in & continental breakfast and will proceed with an 8:30 a.m. program, 11:15 a.m. lunch workshop and a closing at 12:30 p.m.
LCSW and MFT can receive 4 CEUs for attending this event. Please enter your license type and license number when you RSVP to receive credit.
The event is free and parking will be available for $12 at Gate 3 on Figueroa St at McCarthy Way.
