We are the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck Keck Human Rights Clinic, and our core service is providing forensic psychological evaluations to support asylum seekers and others seeking humanitarian relief. At a time when immigrants and asylum seekers are facing increasing legal and systemic challenges, the need for trauma-informed, compassionate clinical advocacy has never been more urgent. As the need to support this population grows, so does the demand for qualified clinical evaluators to help carry out this essential work. In moments like these, do you feel called to mobilize your clinical training in service of human rights and justice?

No prior training?
Not a problem—you already have what it takes to complete these evaluations! We provide essential training, shadowing opportunities, and consultation sessions, so you can learn from experienced clinicians who have been conducting these assessments for years.

Concerned about transportation or time constraints?
Don’t worry—we’re fully virtual, and as a volunteer, you set your own availability. No commuting, no fixed schedule, and no minimum hours required.

We’re hosting a series of clinician orientations to introduce our work and show you how to get involved. You only need to attend one session and be ready to volunteer.

Can’t make a scheduled orientation?
We offer individual orientation sessions if group times don’t fit your schedule.

To get started, email us at sdp_khrc@usc.edu to receive a Google Calendar invitation, or simply join us during one of our scheduled sessions in our Zoom room: 880-878-1433.
Please feel free to share this opportunity with colleagues. We look forward to welcoming you at an upcoming orientation!
