Virtual Showcase Series: USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work Keck Human Rights Clinic “Advocating for Survivors of Human Rights Abuses in Asylum Law”

Participate in an interactive discussion on how social justice and human rights are inextricably linked within the US immigration system. This session will overview topics of gender-based violence, human rights abuses, and asylum law in the United States. Attendees will understand the role of forensic mental health assessments in the immigration justice system and understand its important place for social workers in advocating for human rights.
