For years, attorney J. Brian Campbell represented and counseled minority motorists ensnared by law enforcement in what appeared to be racial profiling. Eventually, he teamed up with investigator Mike Madigan, who investigated the Rodney King beating, and conducted surveillance on the California Highway Patrol to study and disclose discriminatory practices. Campbell and Madigan will discuss what they learned about the practice, origins and effects of racial profiling, and why we need truth and reconciliation today.
