Trojan Family Weekend: Initiative to End Homelessness Presentation
Addressing Wicked Problems: Initiative to End Homelessness
Join us at Trojan Family Weekend for a Thursday breakout session conversation about the current state of homelessness in Los Angeles. Homelessness is an epidemic and USC is doing something about it. Gain insight into the newest data collected from this year’s Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count and learn about the various projects that the university and its partner schools are launching to address homelessness with the help of USC students, faculty and the greater community.
What is Trojan Family Weekend?
Once a year USC invites families to visit their student, get a first-hand look at life as a Trojan and experience all USC has to offer. For alumni, it’s an opportunity to network and explore the boom USC has experienced in recent years, both physically and academically. Enjoy a four-day weekend packed with enriching lectures, intriguing tours, engaging events and, of course, some hard-driving Trojan football.
The weekend kicks off on Thursday morning with our Opening Ceremony at Tommy Trojan. Activities, programs, tours, workshops, lectures and events continue all day Thursday and Friday with the weekend culminating in Saturday's USC football game against the Utes.
Who Should Attend?
Bring everyone in your family. Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, siblings, cousins. Maybe this will be your first Trojan Family Weekend alongside your entering freshman. Or maybe you’ve attended several others with your upperclassman. Perhaps you’re a Trojan alum eager to rekindle the old school spirit. Whatever your perspective, this weekend presents a once-a-year opportunity to share experiences and make new memories with your student while connecting with the rest of the Trojan Family. We hope you can join us. Build your Trojan pride. Strengthen your connection to the university and your student.
Remember, once you join the Trojan Family, you remain a valued member for life.
