The IPV Revolution: Healing the Healer
October 24, 2020 | 3:00 pm
In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness and in light of the current political moment and global public health context we are situated in, we are excited for you to join us for an event around community care and collective healing through an exploration of the imperative to center the healing, transformation, and liberation of communities of color impacted by intimate partner violence (IPV).
Through storytelling and an analysis of the systems that impact survivors of color and those who are supporting crisis intervention, healing, and resilience we hope to create a dialogue that will focus on how to build the capacity and sustainability of professionals and survivor leaders working to prevent and address the impact of intimate partner violence.
Hear first-hand accounts from our featured speakers, each of whom will shed light on various aspects of IPV and their individual work to support the healing of those on the front lines.
