As part of our Social Work Month series of events, the NASW-USC Unit; USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Student Organization and Alumni Association; NASW Region I; and Association of Black Social Workers of Greater Los Angeles present a screening of the film "The Hate U Give," which provides a glimpse into the complexity of biased-based policing in communities of color. The screening will set the stage for a important and nuanced discussion from our panel of experts in implicit bias and social work on the challenges and opportunities in community policing.
