Assistant Professor Emily Putnam-Hornstein and professors Esther Gilles, Sheri Kelfer, Eva Reina and Carlos Sosa will present a discussion on child maltreatment.

Putnam-Hornstein is the recipient of the 2012 SSWR Outstanding Social Work Doctoral Dissertation Award for her dissertation "Do 'Accidents' Happen? An Examination of Injury Mortality Among Maltreated Children."

Lunch will be provided.

The event is co-sponsored by the Child Development and Children's Services research cluster and the Hamovitch Center for Science in the Human Services.
