Mental Health Awareness Movie Night

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the NASW Orange County Unit in collaboration with the USC School of Social Work’s Orange County Caucus will present a special night of film, dinner and discussion. Canvas, starring Academy Award winner Marcia Gay, tells the story of a Florida family dealing with a mother who has schizophrenia. Following the screening, panelists will discuss issues around mental health and hold a Q-and-A session with attendees. A light dinner will be served.
The event is free for students (2.0 CEU’s provided), $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers.
