<a href="http://careers.usc.edu/careerfest" target="_blank">Career Fest 2012</a> is USC&#39;s week-long series of events focusing on work, success and values. The USC School of Social Work Professional Development will host a presentation, &quot;Marketing Your Social Work Skills,&quot; given by David Crippens.

Crippens is a consultant specializing in non-profit management, fundraising and interim management. His experience includes 32 years of non-profit management, fundraising and media development with a major focus of providing interim leadership and management for non-profit agencies facing transitional challenges. He has been the senior vice president of foundations and education for KCET-TV.

Crippens is currently actively involved in a variety of local and national organizations, such as the Los Angeles Unified School Disrict School Construction Bond Citizens' Oversight Committee (outgoing chair); LA Universal Preschool (LAUP), a First 5 LA-funded non-profit organization that supports preschool services in Los Angeles County (board member); AARP (volunteer ambassador); LA Chamber/Unite LA, a school-to-career partnership (current chair); and the City of Los Angeles Workforce Investment Board Youth Council (chair).
