Lecture: Bridging the Gap between Prevention Research, Policy & Practice: Examples from Washington State

The Child/Family Interventions and Services Research Cluster would like to invite you to a special seminar on prevention research and practice, scheduled for Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Our distinguished speaker will be Dr. Brittany Rhoades Cooper, assistant professor of human development and graduate faculty in the Prevention Science PhD program at Washington State University.
Her current research focuses on identifying factors necessary for the successful dissemination, implementation, sustainability and public health impact of preventive interventions for youth and families. Her presentation will present results from two collaborative research projects with state and local community stakeholders in Washington state aimed at understanding how to best support the high quality implementation and sustainability of evidence-based prevention programs in real-world settings.
