Induction Ceremony for the California Social Work Hall of Distinction

The California Social Work Hall of Distinction will honor six inductees, including USC alumni Ishmael Dieppa and Mariko Yamada. The induction class also includes Congresswoman Barbara Lee, chair of the Congressional Social Work Caucus and an anti-war activist who was the only member of Congress to vote against military action in Iraq.
Sai-Ling Chu Chan-Sew, an advocate for care for children with behavioral health issues, will also be inducted into the 2013 class. Joe Solis, a field work pioneer, and Judith Wallerstein, a specialist in how divorce affects families, have earned posthumous inductions.
The reception will begin at 3:00 p.m. with the ceremony running from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.
