Canadian senator and retired Lieutenant-General Dallaire will discuss his personal story and the impact post-traumatic stress has on military families.
In 1993, Dallaire was appointed force commander of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Rwanda, where he saw the country plunge into chaos and genocide, leading to the deaths of 800,000 Rwandans. Since his retirement, Dallaire has been an advocate for human rights, war-affected children and human rights.
