The USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work Department of Community, Organization and Business Innovation invites you to attend "Activating Community & Policy Responses to Homelessness: A Social Change Lab Experience" on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the USC Davidson Center Vineyard Room.

Join us for a community engagement forum designed to: highlight the need for social work engagement in policy practice, examine community and policy responses to homelessness, and co-create recommendations with stakeholders for effective policy practice and advocacy for the homeless population.

John P. Walsh, author of The Culture of Urban Control, will be the event's guest speaker.

Panelists will include: Karen Lincoln, Associate Professor and Director, USC Hartford Center for Excellence in Geriatric Social Work; Bryan Gaines, Assistant Director, USC Hartford Center for Excellence in Geriatric Social Work; and Jody Armour, Roy P. Crocker Professor of Law at USC.

The event is free of charge and parking will be available for $12 at Gate 3 on Figueroa St at McCarthy Way.

CEUs will given to eligible participants.
