Join our non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation as a Clinical Supervisor. We at D’Veal Family and Youth Services (D’Veal) understand it is vital that behavioral health challenges of children and families in the San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles County be met with services consistent with the dynamic needs of today’s world, and within the parameters of various governmental agencies. For over 25 years, we have continually worked to create effective strategies and approaches that do the greatest good in the community and for each of the families we serve through community and school-based programs. The vision of D’Veal is to be the recognized leader in behavioral healthcare services, family wellness, enhancement and empowerment within diverse neighborhoods in Southern California.

The Clinical Supervisor will provide program management and oversight for designated staff. Duties involved individual and group clinical supervision in accordance with Board of Behavioral Science (BBS).

Annual Salary: $80,000 - $92,000

Sign-on Incentive of $15,000

o 1st Payment- After 90-day probationary period: $2,500

o 2nd Payment- After 6 months: $2,500

o 3rd Payment – After 1 year: $2,500

o 4th Payment– After 1.5 years: $3,750

o 5th Payment– After 2 years: $3,750

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

Supervise Therapists within the community-based program and provide coverage as needed in their absence.
Will liaise with community partners and stakeholders.
Monitor referral for services from the community and provide triage.
Available to serve clients and their families within the community and will make plans for coverage.
Acts as a liaison with community sites and works closely with staff to promote the Agency within service areas.
Maintains communication within the community and attends community meetings as needed.
Performs observations/consultations of potential clients as requested.
Plan, organize, schedule, assign, direct, and review the work of assigned staff.
Train staff in work procedures.
Review and approve clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Ensure staff compliance with licensure or registration requirements.
Coordinate, review, and monitor case assignments.
Oversee specific team and program functions.
Monitor and improve agency operations by ensuring adequate staffing and provides clients' easy access to treatment services.
Participate in inter-departmental meetings as well as meetings with other divisions, departments, other public agencies, private organizations, and the general public.
Ensure policy and procedure compliance.
Prepare a variety of reports and records for both administrative and professional purposes.
Participate in quality assurance, quality improvement and utilization review activities.
Write performance evaluations; counsel employees regarding work performance, discipline employees, and report the more difficult personnel issues to higher-level managers.
Maintain established performance and conduct standards in accordance with Agency and organizational expectations.
Performs all other duties assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

· Possess an active license in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) or Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Strong people skills.
Ability to travel for meetings and trainings.
Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience completing Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LADMH) documentation standards (Preferred)
Training and certification in Evidence-Based Practice Models
At least 2 years’ post-licensure with related supervisory experience
Experience in crisis intervention services and threat assessment/management for students, families, and staff
Bilingual - English and Spanish (Strongly Preferred)
