Job Description

Clinical Services Manager is responsible for the management of YWCA-GP’s Domestic Violence Clinical Services. YWCA-GP’s domestic violence center’s clinical services include individual and child therapy, psychoeducational and support groups, and crisis intervention training and education. The Clinical Services Manager also serves on the management team and works in collaboration with the Domestic Violence Programs and Operations Manager to ensure quality service provision and coordination of services to participants impacted by all forms of domestic violence.

• Provide regular individual clinical supervision to therapists and interns.
• Provide clinical supervision to non-licensed therapists and clinical interns.
• Manage concerns relating to coverage, productivity, customer service skills, and workload expectations.
• Provide administrative support, supervision, and consultation to support and broaden staff skill levels.
• Provide crisis support to therapists/interns and clients as needed.
• Recruits MFT and MSW interns from local universities and colleges to enhance the counseling services offered at the DVSC.
• Assists with reporting of statistics and monthly reports as required by funders to include gathering of statistics from other programs with the YWCAGP’s Domestic Violence Project.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychologist or License in Clinical Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy required for at least 2 years.
• Possess a current and valid California license for at least two years prior to commencement of supervision.
• Have practiced psychotherapy or directly supervised trainees, interns or associate clinical social workers who perform psychotherapy as part of their clinical practice, in two of the past five years immediately preceding the commencement of supervision.
• For LMFT’s and/or LCSW’s: 6-hour supervision training within the two-years of commencement of supervision:
o Completed within 60-days of commencement, if never done previously.
o Retaken every renewal period while supervising.
o Documentation of course completion must be retained by the Supervisor.
o Upon request from the Board, the Supervisor must provide documentation of course completion.
• Bilingual ability in Spanish and / or Armenian preferred, but not required.
