The Unaccompanied Minors Project
A Paradigm for Social Change and Development

In the summer of 2014, more than 60,000 unaccompanied minors arrived in the United States among a maelstrom of controversy and polarized political reaction. Though it's not a new phenomenon, the migration presents a crisis that strains government agencies and service providers alike.
Renée Smith-Maddox and Annalisa Enrile, clinical associate professors at the USC School of Social Work, will present their work from the Unaccompanied Minors Project. Through a collaboration of social innovation, services and community development, the project aims to address the growing child migration issue in the U.S.
A light lunch will be served.
