Jose Salazar, director of program development for Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. and one of the leaders of health care management policy and practice in Los Angeles County, will present "The Changing Landscape of Non-Profit Health Services."
Since 1988, Salazar has worked in the substance abuse, HIV/AIDS and mental health fields as a counselor, health educator, community organizer, researcher and administrator. He currently serves as vice president of the Valley Care Community Consortium and co-chair of the California Department of Alcohol and Drugs, Aging Constituent Committee. He is also a member of the American Public Health Association and the American Society on Aging. Salazar
holds master's and doctoral degrees in public health from the University of California, Berkeley.
