Join us for the 16th Annual USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work Film Festival, presented for the first time virtually via Facebook Live on Monday, May 11, 2020, 6 p.m. (PT).
This year’s theme of Reflective Filmmaking in the Age of Pandemic will feature short documentary films created by the students from the SOWK 687 elective Media in Social Work: Documentary Filmmaking as a Praxis for Social Justice. Created while social distancing, students will showcase films that are autobiographical, experimental, expository, investigative and poetic, related to social isolation and human adaptation amid COVID-19.
Hosted by Professor Rafael Angulo, the festival presentation will also feature recorded introductions by the student filmmakers.
Follow the school’s Facebook page at facebook.com/uscssw, then tune in on May 11th from the comfort of your own living room and support our MSW students!
