Biography
Kim Goodman, LCSW is a clinical associate professor of social work, practicum education and the student wellness coordinator at the University of Southern California Suzanne Dworak-Peck (SDP) School of Social Work. She has been a member of the practicum education faculty since 2004. Her areas of interest include mental health, health and wellness, mind-body-spirit practices and mindfulness-based interventions.
In practice, Goodman has worked in the fields of mental health and health, predominately as a clinician and administrator working with lesbian, bisexual and transgender women with cancer, their partners and caregivers. She continues to provide mental health services in the community, serves on university wellness committees, and serves as a volunteer with the SDP-Keck Human Rights Clinic. Goodman is heavily involved in providing advisement and mentorship to MSW students.
