Biography
David Bringhurst has been an associate teaching professor at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work since 2013. He has worked in social services and the social work arena since 1986, including 21 years as an active duty military social worker in the United States Air Force.
Bringhurst retired from the Air Force at the rank of Lt Col. LCSW 1998-2018. He was a board-certified diplomat in clinical social work from 1999 - 2013. He received his PhD in social work from the University of Utah in 2005. Strengths: Inclusive, responsible, positive, learner and future oriented.
