We can help fuel your passion to impact immigration.

Issues surrounding immigration can be complex. Faculty at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work are working to understand and serve the unique needs of immigrants, refugees, and the communities they live in.

MSW students provide free mental health counseling at the Mexican Consulate in LA.

Historically social work in a consular setting focused on family court issues. Many immigrants have faced discrimination and are fearful to use healthcare services even if they are eligible. Under the supervision of USC faculty, MSW students provide direct services for people regardless of immigration status and ability to pay in this first-of-its-kind program. Learn how this program addresses barriers to care and fights stigma in our podcast Listen.Up.People.
