Faculty
Program Faculty
Doctor of Social Innovation (DSI) faculty are scholars, educators and practitioners who bring expertise in leadership, innovation, organizational transformation, human-centered design, systems thinking, applied inquiry, technology and social impact. Drawing from diverse academic disciplines and professional experiences, faculty combine rigorous scholarship with real-world practice to help students connect doctoral learning to complex organizational and societal challenges.
An Interdisciplinary Learning Community
Reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of the DSI, faculty bring perspectives from across disciplines, professions and sectors. This diversity enriches the learning experience, encourages interprofessional collaboration, and exposes students to different approaches to leadership, innovation, and change.
Throughout the program, students learn from faculty who challenge them to think critically, engage diverse perspectives, and develop the advanced capabilities needed to lead innovation in complex and rapidly changing environments.
Faculty Mentorship
Faculty play an active role throughout each student's doctoral experience, from coursework through the applied doctoral capstone. As instructors and mentors, they provide scholarly guidance, constructive feedback and support as students connect their doctoral work to their professional goals.
Working closely with faculty mentors and key stakeholders, students develop, evaluate and refine innovative solutions and strengthen their ability to lead those innovations into action.
